REALLY? REALLY? I saw that and just omg what - I - sometimes - no. It makes me glad I didn't get into film.
Renee is an awesome shot. See, she's learning the downside of "whatever it takes" which is that once you cross the line, you've crossed over and it can't be reversed. She's gone from just being a fed to becoming a player in the 24verse and that...is never a safe place for anyone (re: our conversation). Was that our first reference beyond the senate to the idea that a tomorrow exists? I think if the ad hadn't shown her in the house with the wife, it would have been even more powerful because we wouldn't know, as it is, I found myself going, oh Renee, don't honey.
I don't know, I can't tell with her, she seems to care about Larry, but she's got this other voice in her head right now. I loved the "triangle" of that moment and 24 is never afraid to make Jack look absolutely crazy and as I said somewhere else, bitching out a federal agent until they see things your way and go hold a family hostage? That's...pretty awful. Although trust and love are so close in the 24 world that if she trusts him *that* much, she has to care about him. To me it seems like they once had something and he still has feelings, but with no backstory at all, it's basically a guessing game.
Oooo great line and? So true. You could question a lot about him, but one thing you can't is his total dedication to keeping *the country* safe. Just hold a seance and ask David Palmer, or find Wayne and ask him. Hell Ethan, you were there last year, you *know* this. I loved that Jack offered. He didn't have to, but well, lets just say he's a bit sensitive in this area.
She's so strong in her conviction, I just hope the invasion goes well.
I was so not expecting Henry to be shot - talk about your worst case scenario endings and Jack just lost it, as nothing's worse than ruining a family, making someone violate their own ethical code, and then it's all for nothing. Henry's shot and Dubaku has gone off.
YES. Dubaku is kinda...not a threat. We have some vague info on moles, but rooting out a mole isn't really a threat unless they're still reporting.
Hmmm, I'm really REALLY partial to day one and day two, but best since day three I'd say.
