The Senate hearing could go either way. On the one hand, he didn't actually testify as far as we know, so not so much publicity there. But on the other hand, I remember Oliver North. I can see Jack getting a fair bit of attention if any reporters figured out how close he was to various Presidents, and his name would surely come up in relation to Palmer, as he was on the news for saving him.
