Oh yeah totally. I said it time and again that S7!Renee was like S1!Jack, which makes her a LOT like S2!Jack who totally was struggling with keeping a will to live. Renee might have had it a little harder than Jack, and I'm gonna channel Rachel here and say that's because Jack always had Kim. However, I'm also reminded of Jack volunteering to blow up the plane in S2, as well as Jack wanting to "die for something" in S6. So maybe not so far off from Jack as we might think.
Yeah, that was when I started to care about Hassan as well. I like my characters layered and conflicted, so for me that was a nice little turning point.
I'm not feeling optimistic about Dana at this point either. Which again, makes me mad because I can see some pretty awesome shades in the character already because Katee gives us flashes of different emotions every so often. I just wish they'd unsaddle her with this storyline and bring in other characters into the loop (NOT ARLO) so we can move the fuck on.
Heheh. David Anders. It's weird to hear him without an accent, despite the fact that guy is from Oregon.
