There have been other cases of 24 femalec haracters having sex to advance the plot, Girl and Alexi Drazen in Day 1, Lisa Miller and Dude in Day 6, Olivia and other Dude in Day 7. This is different because of the layers of yuck that you describe.
And Day 7 was on the level of Battlestar in terms of gender equality.
Even so, I am Not quite as outraged as you are, as I am willing to see where this goes.I did inadevertingly watch the promo, hoping it is misleading.
HATE the Dana subplot. I do like and care about the two brothers, so I hpe they spend some time on that next week.
