So, I know I rarely talk about them, but my two absolute favorite shows right now? The ones where I completely trust the writers and whose shows make me think, because they are smart and interesting with dynamic characters and awesome, strong female characters? Are Fringe and the Good Wife.

Mostly, I think that it's because these shows are so good, I have to think really hard exactly how to break it down because there's always so much going on. But they are excellent, excellent shows, and if you haven't seen them, you should check them out now because both shows are having super strong seasons.

Needless to say, I'm concerned about Fringe moving to Friday night starting January. However, this makes me feel a tad bit better:

Seriously, though. Great shows. Watch them.

Maybe I should check out The Good Wife? Hmmmm. On your recommendation, I just ordered Season One from the library.

*shields eyes from video*. I am kind of resigned to this being Fringe's final season.

I swear. You should do something with all of your natural brilliance in "media reflection" for a living. Not even kidding. TV, movies, the huger human themes behind them (which you sometimes analyze with such insight it's ridiculous), even graphics and design - it just seems like you were made for it.

My Good Wife issues could sink a destroyer right now, and I haven't even seen an ep. But! 1) I'm so happy you love it and 2) Wow, I really hope that Fringe doesn't die because of the Friday time slot.

I miss having a show like you can't believe, but I remember what it was like to have one, and I want you to get the excellent resolution you deserve from a show that, from everything I hear, is amazing. *crosses fingers and toes*

I'm sorry Fringe got moved to Friday =/ But it seems to have a really huge fanbase, so hopefully it'll manage to keep up good ratings! In a way, I'm wondering if it actually might help- there are a lot of popular shows I know of that also air on Thursday nights, so maybe it being on Friday will result in less competition and more viewers? *crosses fingers* I'm so glad you're really enjoying both shows, though! :)

It's truly an adult show, but I think what I love about it was that I was expecting one thing but got this amazing commentary on Chicago politics from all different sides instead and it's thought provoking and just awesome.

Watch the video. It's kind of hilarious and any spoilers you might see go by so fast, I couldn't even tell because most of the stuff is stuff we have seen.

LOL. Fair enough. I do hope that you find a show soon, though. I really am very interested to see how you handle BSG.

Did you see the video? It's so tongue in cheek that I can't help but laugh, even if Fox does wind up lying to us.

Part of me feels like I would be good at it, but mostly I think it would suck all the fun out of it if I made a living out of it. I kinda like having fandom as my escape place from the work I do IRL. I like my work and it's interesting, and I still get to write and do video and graphic design there too. It just matters more to me than TV, as crazy as that may sound considering just how many shows I watch. LOL. Most of my crazy ramblings are just stream of conscious rants anyway. (You should see the word vomit that results when I try to unpack the problems of Glee. LOL.)

I did see the video! And I cracked up as I always do when the TV universe and the actual universe collide, but I . . . don't trust Fox. I want to be wrong, because you guys all love this show. I'm crossing my fingers for another season and, barring that, some miracle in which all the threads from this season get sewn up in a way that doesn't drive everybody crazy!

I usually don't trust Fox for a minute. One word: FIREFLY.

Ironically, that's the title of the next episode of Fringe. I only wish I was joking.

A show for grown ups! There is something to be said for that.

*watches* Oh that IS funny. In a sad way.

Awesome promo. Fringe NEEDS a 4th season to wrap up the storyline properly.

Now, if only the fandom could lay off Peter a bit...LOL...
