Mom: "You've been up since 6?
Me: "Yeah. I keep falling asleep at 10pm and waking up at 6am for five days straight now. I don't know what's wrong with me."

In other news:

I streamed the Grammys and it has to be said: Cee Lo lost a bet to Gwyneth Paltrow when they guested together on SNL, right? That can be the only reason why he dressed like in the peacock outfit of Elton John circa the 1980's and had muppets as back up singers for their duet. ( No seriously. There were muppets and a big giant peacock and Gwyneth Paltrow with huge pink feather earrings. )

I'm not entirely sure that actual awards were handed out, since the entire thing felt like a concert, but basically the entire night can be summed up as: Cee Lo went as a bird, Lady Gaga went as an egg, and Mick Jagger, Barbra Streisand and Bob Dylan prove that they are better than all of you because they don't need shit like that to put on a good performance.

I'm streaming the Superbowl because everyone knows you watch the Superbowl for the commercials and no one is here to appreciate this with me. They think it's weird.

I miss living in the States sometimes.

Music goes beyond the notes we hear, as this girl proves in her final for a college level sign language class.



This reminds me of the time the siblings and I went to a Ben Folds concert at Wolftrap and the interpreter had to sign his cover of "Bitches Ain't Shit."

Hey, things NOT to do right before going to bed: watching Fringe, because then you'll be up all night thinking of insane theories. More on that later, but for now I am happy about the ratings, Christopher Lloyd needs to come back somehow, and how much do I love the writers for putting out a comic in youtube form about this episode in NOVEMBER? It was originally in 5 parts, but they re-released it all in one video here:



I love my smart shows.

In a cast of adorable people, Heather Morris remains my favorite. Mostly because she and her roommates do stuff like this (Now with bonus Sofia Vergara!):



I can't pick my favorite part: Naya with the fake tattoo, Heather's rapping, Harry's face on being mistaken for Dianna, or Cory's terrible, terrible dancing.

Harry's also been busy with his short with Twitch. Random lightsaber battles FTW:



Basically, more of my favorite casts need to be this awesome. At this point, I'm not even sure I like the show anymore, but these guys keep coming up with hilarious projects like this and so I continue to love them.

First day of the year and already a new crisis.

The mac, she is dead. Le sigh. I am going to try to see if I can get a replacement sooner rather than later, because it's been in the shop so many times that I'm sure I have somewhat of a case to build that they gave me a faulty unit, but otherwise, that's another $2000 I've gotta drop. I can't function without a computer. It's my livelihood and my main form of communication between here and there.

So sickness AND my computer is dead.

So far 2011 is off to a crappy start. Here's hoping it gets better. (I suppose it can only go up from here?)
