No, really. Brittany was right. Kinda.

I'm now giggling trying to picture Brittany watching this documentary. At least now we know where the comment comes from.

Also, all this Comic Con stuff is making my heart explode with all the awesomeness:

+ Avengers assemble. Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, huh? I can't wait to see where Joss is going to take this and how he's going to direct Robert Downey Jr and Samuel L Jackson.

+ I still have problems wrapping my head around the fact that *Kenneth Branagh* is the director for Marvel's Thor, but hearing what he has to say about it makes me realize that yes, this is real life.

+ The JJ Abrams/Joss Whedon Visionaries panel was really good, especially towards the end where they offered up some really great insights into TV vs movies and how that affects storytelling.

+ I thoroughly enjoyed the Women Who Kick Ass panel, which had Elizabeth Mitchell and Anna Torv sitting next to each other and being cool.

+ The Pacey-con that Joshua Jackson held right outside the convention center, wearing the same t-shirt he wore in S1 of Dawson's Creek and reading out fanfiction that he wrote himself? (Yeah, take a moment to laugh about the fact that Joshua Jackson wrote DC fanfiction. Yes, he did it for Funny or Die, but still. AWESOME.) As if I needed another reason to love this man.

+ The cast interactions on the panels are always really great at Comic Con too. The Chuck panel and the Fringe panel make me really excited too for the fall. (Some S4 spoilers for Chuck in those links, but non-spoilery reaction? Really, guys? The Old Spice guy is going to have a bit part on the Chuck? Hahaha. The other big casting news for Chuck, though, is blowing my mind.) Also, ASTRID. Cannot.wait.

I loved how they couldn't go without mentioning drugs on the Fringe panel. Drugs/Fringe = OTP, y/y? Joshua Jackson using a glass of water and mike to imitate the sound of a bong will never not be funny. And Captain Awesome taking that pot-shot at Adam Baldwin for talking about Firefly ("Fourth season of Chuck and we're still talking about Adam's little shows") was perfect.

The Castle and Glee panels finish today so I'll probably end up adding links to this post, but I am really excited to see what they have to say. Nathan always makes for a great interview, and the Glee cast is too adorable for words, so I'm betting there will be some choice gems up on youtube by tonight.

In conclusion, Comic Con? ILU this much:

Thank the gods for Fringe. It's the ONE show I'm looking forward to in September.

I tried watching Glee and it made me grind my teeth. Sorry.

Yeah, I purposely left out any links for that panel because I know you're trying to avoid spoilers for S3, and they're like, everywhere. But you know what was really cool? You know how every panel has a Q&A section? The cast and writers decided to bring a bunch of Fringe t-shirts and they made anyone who asked them a question answer a Fringe trivia question. If they got it right (which most of them did), they got a shirt.

I'll try to find a non-spoilery vid for you, though cuz some of the stuff they had to say about this season is really good, especially regarding Walter/John Noble.

Glee is totally not for everyone. No need to apologize, dude. I have a love hate relationship with it myself.

I appreciate that, thank you! I DO know that Olivia's Alt-Mom makes an appearance, but other than that I'm spoiler free.

Just label any spoliery stuff as such, and I'll steer clear.

Yeah I am sooo ready for Fringe right now(and for S2 blu-ray to come out, dammit), though I am filled with some trepidation in regards to certain spoilers that I've heard.

Josh is The Man. And fine, I have a bit of a Peter Bishop man-crush. There, I said it. Sue me.

I did see like one episode of Chuck, and it centered around the song "Tom Sawyer" by Rush. Even though Rush is like the Best Band Ever, and the show gets about 10,000 Paladin Points for that, I never really felt compelled to watch it steadily. *shrug*

I remember when Kevin McKidd (one of my favorite actors, ever) was said to be one of the prospects to star in Thor, but it looks like he might be in the Highlander remake instead.

Glee - I'm a heterosexual male, so kind of a given I'm not a fan. Ha.

Yeah, I really cannot wait for S2 to come out on DVD. I loved this season so very much. Hopefully they will be able to pull through and make this season great. It's the 3rd season of a JJ Abrams show, which is typically where they tend to fall apart, so this will be the real test to see if they can keep up the quality.

Josh is totally the man. Check out the post I just put up. The video for Pacey-con is HILARIOUS.

I heard about Kevin McKidd, but I'm kinda glad that they didn't go with him for Thor. It's gonna be hard enough to buy Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark taking cues from Chris Evans' Captain America. I can't imagine how much harder it would be if Kevin McKidd was Thor.

LOL. No need to qualify yourself here. We can still be friends even if you don't like all the stuff I do. In fact, I find that my interest in television is so all over the place that finding even one person who likes *all* the fandom things I do is near to impossible.

Chuck and Glee appeal the absurd, cracky side of my personality. I recognize that they aren't for everyone, but for Chuck, I truly enjoy the comedy and the geeky nature of the show. For Glee, I really love the music, even before the characters. Even if I don't watch the episode from that week, I will ALWAYS download the music. In both cases, I do think the cast is what keeps me tuning in because they all seem so nice and so wonderful to their fans, that I can't help but smile whenever I see them. The Glee kids especially could be a bunch of divas given their success, but they seem to be a very grounded group of people and really hard-working, which I always appreciate.
